It’s the 20th Waimea Kukui Kalikimaka Huakai (lighted Christmas parade) from 6: P.M. to 11: P.M.  It’s sponsored by the West Kauai Business and Professional Association and other area merchants.  The Grand Marshal this year is aunty Aletha Kaohi of Waimea.  The floats and marching groups start from Waimea Canyon Middle School and go through the heart of Waimea Town to Hofgaard Park.  If you bring your own camera, Santa will be available for picture-taking.  There will be food for sale, and there’s a popcorn machine that dispenses free popcorn.  There will also be crafts, venders, along with live music and entertainment.  For more info call the Parade Chair: Esther Estes at 652-0927.                                                                                                       There’s nothing like the flag to lead a parade!!
