Outlook through Sunday May 4: the current small northwest swell will gradually fade through Tuesday. A new north northwest swell combined with increasing northeasterly winds behind a shear line will produce short-period choppy surf along north and east facing shores from late Tuesday into Thursday. A new northwest swell arriving Saturday night is expected to boost surf heights along north and west facing shores next Sunday.
