Relay for Life This Weekend
The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Kauai will be held at Hanapepe Soccer Field taking place from 5: P.M. Saturday to 6: A.M. Sunday. It’s a night of fun, games and entertainment honoring survivors and helping to continue the fight against cancer through education and research. Individuals and teams will compete for prizes, and teams will come in costumes looking like their favorite Superheroes like Ninjas, policemen and firemen. It has a daily ocean report to show where it’s safest to go, and beaches are marked on the app for lifeguarded, caution, and do not go there! There’s GPS to guide you to the beach you select, what facilities you’ll find at that beach, and what the weather will be. Our goal is to make your beach day safe!!
