Koloa Plantation Days Annual Parade 7/26
Horseback and walking units, floats, vintage cars and decorated vehicles are in a hometown parade this Saturday, July 26 beginning at 10: A.M. This parade reflects the worker’s camps in plantation towns, each with its own ethnic identity. People walking, riding on floats, on horseback and in decorated vehicles will do their best to capture some aspect of plantation life. You’ll see colorful costumes, dancing, music, everything that brings back the life during the hey-day of the sugar industries.
