Join in the next “Snorkel for a Cause” Saturday, Oct. 12th from 8 to 11 am, and make a difference!

Lend a hand removing debris from Morgan’s Pond at Lydgate Park. Dive for small waterlogged tree branches that settled at the bottom of the pond after heavy rains and ocean swells. Water depth is less than 8 ft.

Everyone is invited to join in the fun! Please bring your own mask, snorkel and fins if you are diving. Gloves and sun protection are recommended for everyone. Please bring your own water bottle in a green effort to reduce plastic cups—water is available.

On Oct. 26th there is another worthy volunteer event at Lydgate. Help apply linseed oil to the Kamalani Bridge and keep this structure beautiful for years to come. Meet at 7:30am at the main pavilion at Lydgate wearing clothing appropriate for painting. Bring gloves, sun protection and a water bottle. Water, snacks and lunch will be provided.
