From the app picker: “Your Kauai Beach Guide App was included in our best beaches apps for iPad.” We are very proud to get that recognition. Our goal has always been to save lives here on Kauai, and we are heartened that the number of drownings this year has decreased! When you buy the app in iTunes, you get a daily ocean report so you know where to go to be safe. Also, the beaches are color-coded, again to tell you which beaches are lifeguarded, which beaches are okay if you are careful, and which beaches are not safe. The app also has other features, like GPS, weather, facilities the beach, and many other extras. Today, for example, there is a Northwest swell building, so that by tonight and tomorrow , the North and West shores will have rather high surf! The life guarded beaches are the safest, and remember, if in doubt, don’t go out!
