ENJOY THE 51st KAUAI CHORALE CONCERT THIS WEEKEND

Tickets are now available for the 2014 Christmas concert, “It’s Christmas with the Kauai Chorale.”  You won’t want to miss this year’s 51st annual concert if you love the music of the holidays!  Set aside December 13 at 7:30pm for our KCC concert in the Performing Arts Center, or December 14 at 5:00pm for the North Shore concert at the St. Regis Princeville Resort.  Bring the family and relax for an evening of holiday song.

Kauai Chorale’s annual Christmas concert has been a part of Garden Island Holiday happenings for 51 years.  This year’s concert offers Christmas music for everyone.  The chorale will showcase Johann Sebastian Bach’s Wachet Auf! (Sleepers Awake!) and a stirring choral composition, Hodie (This Day) by V. Randall Stroope.  Filling out the program will be celebratory and fun Christmas pieces in a variety of styles from the classic Bach “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” to songs for Hanukkah, spirituals, some solo features and more.  And there are always a few surprises in store.
