County Museum Hosts Lei Day
The 34th annual lei contest at the Kauai Museum is happening Thursday, May 1. Doors open at 11: for viewing and you can bid in the silent auction for a lei. Awards are at 3:30. and a live auction is at 4:30. If you like leis, you will love this opportunity to see some of the best! Remember, in Hawaii, May Day is Lei Day. Meanwhile, surf is down on most beaches, but always be careful. When in doubt, don’t go out!
