Waimea Town Celebration is #Kauai’s largest and oldest annual festival on the island. They celebrate their proud history and tight-knit community with over a week of cultural and recreational events! Whether you prefer being a spectator or want to jump in on the action, Waimea Town Celebration offers something for everyone, from keiki (child) to kupuna (elder)!
February 15 – 23, 2014 will find the west side of Kauai filled with FREE LIVE entertainment: a Hawaiian rodeo; canoe and stand up paddle races; a film festival; softball and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments; a fun run (10K, 5K, 2K); storytelling; ice cream eating, ukulele and lei contests; cultural exhibits; all culminating in a 2-day Heritage of Aloha Hoolaulea (2/21-2/22) with continuous entertainment on the big stage with unique local foods, craft vendors, games and rides for the keiki and a Koloa Rum / Heineken-Coors Beer Garden for the adults.
